James and crew crushed spotted bass in Florida City's flats!
What a day on the water! James and their crew joined us for a summer morning trip starting late morning down in Florida City. The weather held steady and conditions looked good for working the flats. We headed out with MTSix ready to put some lines in the water and see what the backcountry had to offer.
With our gear rigged and ready, we focused on sight fishing and fly fishing techniques along with some light tackle casting on the flats. James and crew managed to hook up with spotted bass during our time cruisin' the flats. Florida City's flats fishing really shines when y'all can work multiple techniques in the same areas, and the shallow water structure holds fish consistently. We wrapped up the trip with tight lines and good times all around!
